The Mirror–Mirror series brings together a body of work shaped by the language of Dadaism and the tactile process of collage. Fragments gathered, cut, and reassembled into a single conceptual form. Each piece is built from collected paper elements, layered with intention, allowing disparate visuals and ideas to coexist within one space. These works trace back to the earliest period of my exhibition journey, where the practice was grounded more in research, observation, and collected information than in pure emotional expression. They carry a certain factual weight, drawing from data, references, and studied perspectives, reflecting a time when understanding the world felt like the first step to understanding myself as an artist.
Within this series, the growth of an emerging artist quietly reveals itself. Some works may feel dense and some uncertain, but each piece holds an honest record of exploration and learning. Rather than striving for perfection, this collection stands as a document of self-discovery. A measure of how far I was willing to experiment, question, and travel creatively. It captures the rawness of a beginning, where depth and naivety exist side by side, forming the foundation of an evolving voice.
